A Life of Its Own is a collaborative duo exhibition that looks at habits through repetition, routine and control, tracing how seemingly mundane gestures become embedded in our bodies, environments and sense of time. The installation of drawings on mulberry paper, cotton and fabric, film photographs, and a soundtrack based on field recordings considers the tension between holding on and letting go, between seeking stability and adapting to change.
