Through symbols, objects, photographs and drawings, Closer and Further work series explores notions of home, attachment and change, asking what binds us to objects, phases, places and their particulars, and what it is that we call the familiar?

The installation consists of five drawings, a family photograph, seashells and a publication. Publication featured in the exhibition: A Short History of Time by Leofranc Holford-Strevens.
