Something Big Is What I’m After Now is an unbound publication made with cyanotypes on paper and textiles, accompanied by a soundtrack and a stitched hanging piece. Bringing together different ways of understanding time, including Buddhist concepts of reincarnation, the expanding universe and modern physics, the work considers constant change and our limited, fragmented perception of time.
Cyanotype, stitching, sound and unbound pages shape the work as an open and fragmented publication that can be handled and rearranged. The soundtrack refers to the stitching process, displaced from conventional bookbinding and moving attention to the loose pages and the structure of the publication itself.
